An international group of development-oriented commercial banks
The ProCredit group is made up of development-oriented commercial banks for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) and private individuals fostering economic, ecological and social development.
In addition to its operational focus on South Eastern and Eastern Europe, the ProCredit group is also active in South America and Germany.
Based in Frankfurt, Germany, the parent company of the group, ProCredit Holding, is responsible for the strategic management, capital adequacy, reporting, risk management, and proper business organisation of the group and also acts as a superordinated company from a regulatory point of view. At consolidated level, the group is supervised by the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (Bundesanstalt für Finanzdienstleistungsaufsicht or BaFin) and the German Federal Bank (Deutsche Bundesbank).
